BECOME A LEARNERSHIP MANAGER
A need was identified by employers and training providers who are managing learnerships to understand the administrative systems, management and learner needs when implementing a learnership.
Learners attending the programme need to bring:
- Any existing documentation pertaining to the existence of a Quality Management System within the learners organisation Learning outcomes
We offer accredited Learnership Manager Training for those who really want to make a difference. Our training takes place over a period of two days, and can be accessed in three ways:
- Public courses are not pre-scheduled. Learners apply for attendance, we then schedule a public workshop on a regular basis (usually on a 6-weekly basis)
- In-house courses for organisations or sectors’
- Blended e-Learning option in our Virtual e-Learning Centre. Our most affordable and popular option.
We cover the following Unit Standard:
Unit Standard 15232 – Co-ordinate planned skills development interventions in an organisation – Level 5 – Credits 6

What entry qualification is needed?
- NQF Level 4/Grade 12 certificate
- Computer Literacy on NQF4 Level
- Communication at NQF4 Level
How long does it take?
- Our workshops and in-house courses run over three days. Portfolios and part assessment are completed on the last day of the workshop.
- Blended e-Learning: Learners set their own learning pace and complete the programme based on the time available. This can be done within a few hours, one to two weeks or even within a few months.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of both the programme modules, learners will be able to:
- Identify all stakeholders involved in a learning intervention
- Demonstrate understanding of the implementation of learning interventions against National strategies and targets
- Understand of the role of the Department of Labour with regards to the National Skills Development Strategy
- Understand and explain different learning interventions
- Understand of the different categories of learners
- Understand of rules, processes and principles concerning the implementation of learning interventions
- Demonstrate understanding of administration and management of learning interventions against national requirements and legislation
- Demonstrating understanding of workplace, training provider and learner readiness to enter into a learnership programme.
- Demonstrate understanding of what a learning intervention plan is
- Demonstrate understanding of transfer of learning in the workplace and problem solving
Certification
Learners who successfully complete the portfolio of evidence will be awarded a skills programme certificate with the unit standard listed.
